Do you often put off things that you should do? Do you feel stressed, anxious, guilty, or frustrated because of this? If you do, you are not the only one. Many people have this problem. But you can fix it by following these seven steps:

Find out why you put things off.

The first step is to figure out why you put things off. There are many possible reasons, such as being afraid of failing, wanting to be perfect, not feeling like doing something, being bored, being distracted, or not liking yourself. By finding out the reason, you can solve it better and find ways to help yourself.

Make clear and easy goals.

The second step is to make clear and easy goals for yourself. Having unclear or hard goals can make you feel lost and hopeless, which can make you put things off. Instead, make your goals smaller and simpler so that you can do them within a certain time. This will help you stay focused and happy and see your progress.

Make a plan and a schedule.

The third step is to make a plan and a schedule for your things. Having a plan and a schedule can help you manage your time and decide what to do first. It can also help you avoid things that can stop you from doing your things. To make a plan and a schedule, write down all the things that you need to do and when to do them. Then, use a calendar or a planner to mark the time for each thing and follow it.

Get rid of things that distract or tempt you.

The fourth step is to get rid of things that distract or tempt you from doing your things. This can include your phone, social media, email, TV, games, or other people. To get rid of them, turn off your notifications, block or log out of websites or apps that distract you, put your phone away or on silent mode, work in a quiet and comfortable place, or tell others not to bother you when you are working.

Do one thing at a time.

The fifth step is to do one thing at a time. Trying to do many things at once or changing between different things can make you do them worse and slower. It can also make you feel stressed and confused, which can make you put things off. Instead, do one thing until you finish it before doing the next one. This will help you keep your attention and speed and finish your things faster and better.

Reward yourself and be nice to yourself.

The sixth step is to reward yourself and be nice to yourself. Rewarding yourself is giving yourself something that you like or want after doing a thing or reaching a goal. Being nice to yourself is saying good things about yourself and forgiving yourself for any mistakes or failures. Both of these things can help you feel more motivated, confident, and happy. To reward yourself and be nice to yourself, give yourself something that makes you happy after finishing a thing or reaching a goal. Also, say good things about yourself and your work, and don’t be hard on yourself for any mistakes or failures.

Ask for help and support from others.

The seventh and last step is to ask for help and support from others. Having someone who can help you emotionally and practically can help you deal with any problems or difficulties that you may face along the way. Having someone who can check on you and your work can help you stay honest and responsible for your goals. To ask for help and support from others, tell someone who cares about you and respects
